A pick at the new CPS annual report confirms the ongoing reduce in department budget.
Since 2009–2010, total net expenditure has reduced by nearly 27% and CPS seem to be doing just fine as the total net resource requirement (including capital) as shown in the Statement of Parliamentary Supply was £498.6 million which was £3.4 million or 0.7% less than the sum voted to CPS by Parliament.
