Identities are not just residing in the realities, but also in the perception of the individuals from them that are shown through specific reflections. It puts people in separate categories, i.e. groups where they have different opinions of justice. It is what creates many norms and few crimes. Therefore, it is what creates inter-group conflicts.
Shared identities can generate resolution in inter-group conflicts. Therefore, to creating Utopian crime free society – should it ever exist – it is vital to increase shared values to the point that they would be the only norm. A community where everyone has the same understanding of the realities and therefore reacts to them in the same way.
A society free of conflict and of course free of agency for its members, where the norms are dictated, and the values are rigid. The possibility of change is condemned, and the challengers are stigmatised with abnormality. In this society, there is one norm and many crimes.
A crime-free society is full of crime!
